Although this portrait definitely has some issues, I was happy with how the eyes turned out. Skills that I still really need to work on are blending colors more smoothly, drawing noses and figuring out how to shade teeth. I also need to learn how to make mouths look like they are a part of the face instead of just stuck on as an after thought. Overall, though, I feel like I’m starting to make some progress.
